Drawing Steps

I know that everyone knows how to draw, but not everyone knows how to draw with proper and the right steps that can make our colouring process easier. First, we have to sketch or draft our drawing by using pencil. By this time, we can sketch it, do a projection line or whatever and no need to sketch them with dark line , it is enough just to have a basic line that you can see and follow during inking process.

Next is inking process, before this I prefer to use a calligraphy pen which is used for 'khat' fonts,  but then I realized it does not suitable for drawing as it really needs us to stay focus on the thick and thin line which is actually can be done by using Adobe Illustrator (tutorial will be post on the next entry, maybe). And now what we gonna use is a blue ball pen, just a cheap ball pen. Why blue? I also have no idea why we have to use blue but what I have read in an article, blue ink is better and more clear than a black one. Okay now you're using blue pen and just follow the line that have been sketched with pencil.

Step 3, the easiest step. Pick an eraser and all you have to do is erase all the sketch line until you can have a drawing just like picture above. Make sure all the lines are clearly erase and inked so that there will be any problems during colouring process.

And the final process, colouring. Colouring can be done by using Paint, Coreldraw, Adobe Photoshop. I prefer to use Photoshop. And now, you can colour it just by click on each space of your drawing by using magic wand tool. And after all the spaces have been detected, right click and click layer via copy to make a new layer. Each layer that have created can be colour, bevel, shadow by just double click on that layer. Now, you can choose the suitable colour for your drawing. Good luck guys (:
